Infant Care
Where Character Building meets Cognitive Development!
To ensure a smooth transition for both parents and child, we have developed a Todd-To-Playgroup Integration Program.
This is one of the first materials our kids in Infant Care start working on, from as young as 7 months old! Infants will learn to move the green wooden bead fro the base of the wire to the top where it ends, and then back to the base again. Such an activity develops the infant's eye-hand coordination and builds on their ability to focus on individual tasks.
Once they master the basic version of the activity, they move on to something a little more challenging - moving the green bead through a wonky wire instead of a straight one!
The montessori approach focuses on nurturing a child during a period where their minds are most absorbent and sensitive. We create an environment where children can do as much as possible on their own. Working with infants means creating just the right balance of challenge and support - this mostly consists of working on their basic motor skills. As they learn hand eye coordination and slowly gain control of their body, it becomes the building blocks to a limitless future!
